Shelly Nash graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University, and earned her Juris Doctor at the John Marshall Law School. During law school, Shelly interned with the State’s Attorney’s office in a number of divisions, including the Juvenile Delinquency and Traffic Divisions, where she gained invaluable trial experience using her 711- License.
Shelly became an associate at SK Law P.C in December 2012. Shelly handles all stages of divorce cases, orders of protections and parentage cases. Shelly works diligently with clients on all matters such as discovery, child support and child support arrearages, division of property, analysis of financial information, settlement negotiations, and litigation. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and always prioritizes her clients’ concerns and goals. Shelly makes every effort to amicably settle disputes, but will zealously represent her clients’ interests in the courtroom when settlement is not an option.
Shelly is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Women Bar Association of Illinois.
